The Camber has flown a bit under the radar since its debut a few years back, but that should change. For starters, it’s a damn good bike. The Camber plays in the lightweight trailbike niche once occupied solely by the Stumpjumper (which has grown longer legs in recent years) and is configured around a lightweight, 110-millimeter (4.3 inch) travel frame.
The Camber continues to be a 29er-only option and in 2014, the seven-bike platform finally gets Specialized’s full-zoot treatment–a pimped out, carbon S-Works version as well as a more aggressive “EVO” model. Pricing for 2014 Camber models ranges from very affordable ($1,850 for the base level Camber 29) to you-better-be-filthy-rich level ($9,250 for the carbon S-Works edition). Specialized also offers the carbon S-Works Camber as a frame-only option.
